Brenau's Office of Academic Affairs is seeking a Research Assistant.  The Research Assistant assists with data collection (including standardized testing), data entry, and data management for areas of assessment, institutional research, and strategic planning. 

  • Maintain websites for assessment and institutional research.
  • Prepare reports for enrollment management team.
  • Provide technical assistance and support for Compliance Assist assessment, planning, and reporting program.
  • Maintain logs of questions/issues regarding Compliance Assist and their resolution.
  • Participate in meetings of relevant committees, as needed.
  • Assist with Staff training workshops.
  • Provide support to the Director of Institutional Research, Director of Assessment, and Chair of Strategic Planning.
  • Other duties as assigned, including clerical tasks.
  • Quantitative and qualitative research methodology.
  • Statistical analysis.
  • Productivity software skills, e.g. Excel, Access, SQL.
  • Experience using large databases.

Environmental and Working Conditions:
Normal environment found in an office and/or educational setting. Some exposure to outdoors and varying weather conditions may be required. 

Physical Demands and Aptitudes:
This position requires repetitive usage of fingers, arms, legs, eyes to include sitting to a significant degree.

Work Hours:
40 hours per week.  Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Hours may be extended to meet the needs of the department. 

Background Check:
This position requires that you hold and continue to maintain a clean criminal history background.
