Brenau's Office of Academic Affairs is seeking a Research Assistant. The Research Assistant assists with data collection (including standardized testing), data entry, and data management for areas of assessment, institutional research, and strategic planning.
Maintain websites for assessment and institutional research.
Prepare reports for enrollment management team.
Provide technical assistance and support for Compliance Assist assessment, planning, and reporting program.
Maintain logs of questions/issues regarding Compliance Assist and their resolution.
Participate in meetings of relevant committees, as needed.
Assist with Staff training workshops.
Provide support to the Director of Institutional Research, Director of Assessment, and Chair of Strategic Planning.
Other duties as assigned, including clerical tasks.
Quantitative and qualitative research methodology.
Productivity software skills, e.g. Excel, Access, SQL.
Experience using large databases.
Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills.
Comfort working in teams.
Flexibility and attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Environmental and Working Conditions:
Normal environment found in an office and/or educational setting. Some exposure to outdoors and varying weather conditions may be required.
Physical Demands and Aptitudes:
This position requires repetitive usage of fingers, arms, legs, eyes to include sitting to a significant degree.
40 hours per week. Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Hours may be extended to meet the needs of the department.
This position requires that you hold and continue to maintain a clean criminal history background.
